The Chapel at Seaside’s primary purpose will always be to create a place of worship within Seaside. Over the years, it has also become a highly sought-after venue for destination weddings, remaining the only option on 30-A for a traditional church ceremony.

We were named one of the South’s Most Beautiful Chapels by Southern Living magazine, received South Walton’s Best Wedding Venue – Diamond Level from 2017–2020, were a finalist for Southern Weddings’ Best of the South 2017 – Prettiest Chapel, and have a five-star rating on The Knot, the country’s most popular wedding planning resource.

Camp Helen State Park

The park is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and by Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in Florida. From 1945 until 1987 Camp Helen was a company resort for the employees of an Alabama textile mill, known as Avondale Mills. Some of those buildings have now been restored.

Eden Gardens State Park

Eden Gardens contains approximately 163 acres of land that was part of the historic Wesley homestead.

The focal point of this park is a beautifully renovated two-story house with elegant white columns and wrap-around porch. In a setting of moss-draped live oaks, the 1897 mansion recalls a prosperous era before the virgin forests of longleaf pine and cypress were exhausted in this part of the state. 

In 1963, Lois Maxon bought and renovated the home, creating a showplace for her family heirlooms and antiques.
